We operate on a part-time, varying schedule from Monday to Friday 10 – 5pm. We are flexible & happy to adapt and suit your project’s needs if possible within the studio’s capacity. Please get in touch to arrange.
Open access is not an entirely taught session and is partially supported. We will be on hand to help with any troubleshooting but you are expected to use the equipment yourself once inducted. If you need further assistance we offer design and file set-up services. Please get in touch to arrange.

No. You don’t need any previous printing experience to book a session. You must complete an induction with us first to familiarise yourself with the equipment & space. We recommend you read our print guide and feel free to contact us with any questions prior to your session.
Artwork will not be be generated during an induction. Is it simply to show you how the machines work and how you will print during an open access session. Our workshops focus on artwork creation and printing your work.
The minimum booking slot is 1 hour. The maximum booking slot is 7 hours per day. You can also book slots across multiple days.
How you’d like to use your printing time is completely up to you. You can use the time to experiment with your artwork and the machine or for maximum printing time within a session we would advise you to have your artwork ready prior to printing.
Please read our print guide to set up your files. You can bring your artwork in physical format to scan, or digital format via email or USB.
If you are unsure you can get in touch with us prior to your session and we can advise on the best way to print. We also can provide a file set-up and design services. Please email us to arrange this.
Yes we are happy to keep any ongoing work to dry in the studio.
Yes. You can bring your own uncoated paper to test up to A3 size and 350gsm max weight. A test must be done prior to printing and we recommend bringing extra copies in the chance of misprints.
